Extra-curriculum activities in English are offered throughout the year:
- Drama Club (Primary and College)
English Drama is an ideal subject for bilingual and French children alike. It is invaluable as a means of developing communication skills, encouraging positive social interaction, teaching children how to listen & respond, improve negotiation skills, encouraging creative expression and building self confidence. The main goal of our drama club is for everybody to have fun and be able to express themselves in a relaxed environment. The children work throughout the year on their drama skills and they are given an opportunity to show their new skills and confidence at the end of year show.
- Active English (Primary and College) - an additionnal activity for non-bilingual children.
The objectives of the Active English course are to provide confidence in conversational English and to motivate students to widen their range of vocabulary using real life situations.
- The Pantomime
It's one of our favourites!
The SPS (Secret Panto Society) puts on a show in the Theatre Musical de Pibrac every January. 2011 pantomime was ALADDIN. For 2012 it will be Beauty and the Beast. Watch this space for more details
